18-7-02: Bray Results: The results from the mental race held in Bray last weekend are out, and can be got HERE. The race was mental and if you missed it you should kick yourself!! Well done and thanks to Peter Popham & Jerry Dawson for organising this race. Hope to have photos soon.

10-7-02: DH race: One of the biggest DH races this year is getting close! I am going to Arklow tomorrow, Going to Bray on Friday and staying there until Sunday morning. There is practise from 5.30pm to 8.30pm on Friday. I have got my new helmet and racing clothes for this race and I'm well happy with em! I'll be selling a load of stuff on Saturday, so if you are looking for a few bits look out out for me. All of the team will be at this race. Seeya there!! 6-7-02: Jumping: James Motherwell AKA "Punk" was in Athlone this week. We met him last night for a mad bit of street riding. Then today we went jumping. It was a good bit of craic! I've put up some jumping pics, Click HERE. (They are old, the jump spot was only there a week when we took them!!)

Bray: Bray is going ahead next week on Bray head. This track is awsome! Entry has closed I think. This race is going to be one of the coolest this year!! Seeya there.

28-6-02: Eurosport: Rd. 3 of the UCI world cup can be got on eurosport on the following dates:- 11th July, 11.30am (60Mins), 12th July, 8.45am (30Mins), & 9.45am (30Mins) (IRISH TIME).

Rd. 4: Rd. 4 is going ahead this sunday in Waterford. I won't make it because my noise is sore and bleeds if I go over any bumps!!

The States: Go to the FORUM to see how Brock and the Bradleys are doing in the states


24-6-02: News: I am going into hospidal tomorrow for an operation on my noise. I hope to be fit to race on sunday in Waterford. Because of this there won't be updates for a day or two.

Cancelled: Rd.3 in Grous moutain has being cancelled, another venue may be found but is unlikley at this stage. I think the Forest fires are in that area.

TV: The world cup is on Eurosport tomorrow morning (19th) at 8.30am (Irish time)

13-6-02: DH on TV: You can see the first round of the UCI World Cup on Eurosport. Its on on Friday morning (14th) at 08.00 am. Don't miss it. I will because the cable operator has Nick on in the mornings till 12.00 am.

New layout: I've decided to change the layout again. I hope to have all thelinks and pics up by Tuesday. The JC is over until monday..... Wood work. (Not the worst!!)

8-6-02: Grouse World Cup DH and 4X CANCELLED!:A UCI press release was passed around the pits today in Maribor saying that Gestev has pulled out of running a DH and 4X event at Grouse. They say it is because of the amount of snow still remaining on the mountain. They are still hosting the XC event, and that is the same level. All the teams and journalists have booked their flights and accommodation already, and everyone here in Maribor is very frustrated and angry.

Updates: Sorry about the lack of updates. I'm doing my JC and when thats not on I'm doing a bit of Dirt Jumping. should be back to normal by the weekend. Thanks.

31-5-02:NPS 3: Round 3 of the Irish NPS is to go ahead on June 9th. Its being organised by Bray DH Team. Work is starting right now to bring the track up to a good stanard. If you can lend a hand please contact Colm or Vincent Bradley on 01 287 2133. I'll also miss this round because of the Junior Cert!!

Round 2 of the World cup is also on that weekend in Solvenia.


30-5-02: Tollymore race: The race looks as if its going ahead on the 24th & 25th of August. I'll miss it cause I'll be on holidays. The track sounds amazing. Tollymore is just 5mins from Newcastle. For more go to the forum.


UCI World cup #1: Loads of irish riders are heading over to Rd. 1 of the UCI world cup, being held in Scotland. The riders heading over are: John Lawlor, Honcho, Glyn O'Brein, Colin Ross, Marty Mcguigan, Jamie Scott, and Declon Halton. If you are heading over make sure you give them a cheer!!. Chris was ment to be going over but he can't go now because of the stupid games that Air Lingus are playing with the Pilots.

28-5-02:Retirement: Colin Finley has decided to stop organising races. For the ones who don't know who this is; hes the man behind the: 01 National champs, Moneyscalp winter series, and the Moonrider. He will still be present at some races but won't have anything to do with the way they are run.

DH Race: There is going to be a mad race going ahead sometime in the summer, in Tollymore. Go to the FORUM for more.

World cup #1: The 1st round of the UCI world cup is going ahead in Scotland this weekend. (1st & 2nd, June). Chris is the only one from the Athlone DH Crew that will be heading over, because its a bit to close to the JC for me and Andy.
